Aesca, Charnra Family Seals

Some family seals from Charnra. These seals are called oraju/ohrahjoo, and are both figuratively and literally the thing they represent; they also represent a sharing of blood between the bearer and the thing symbolized. Someone who has a hopper seal is physically related to Hopper. The upper left is Frog, Ten-Ghost's family sign. Just below that is Turtle. The others are the council families:

Kudjoojoo bird, a noble family that makes axes and breeds storks for royalty.

Gariax, a royal family and very wealthy, and have been great generals.

Hopper, a family of tricksters and teachers.

Cypress Tree, artists and engineers.

Maize, bookkeepers and psychopomps.

Keeookachahee/tkiookatsahee the Blue Jay, industrial engineers and architects.

Thunder, the remnants of the original family that settled the Unalahssgee plateau.

Cicada, entertainers and advisors.

Moon's Road, storytellers and mystics.

Scarlet Sea, warrior-scholars.

They're sketchy and quickly done, but they're tattoos usually applied by fish bone and hammer, anyway, and it's forbidden to draw them on paper (but this is loopholed by making them into stamps sometimes).
