Aesca, Depictions of Hoppers

Various cultural depictions of hoppers. The hopper is an important animal to a large number of tribes in the Scarlet Basin, the Unahlahssgee plateau, and along the Moon's Road mountains, and thus shows up in much of the art along those areas and as an important family spirit. It alternatively serves the role of trickster, companion, secret lover, and shapeshifting teacher in stories all through those regions.
