ECCO-1(c)
The first of two habitable planets in the ECCO-1 system, ECCO-1(c) is mostly covered with water; warm, shallow seas are the norm, and geological activity is much more active compared to Earth. It's also closer to the sun, creating a tropical world covered with oceans and dotted with volcanic islands and archipelagos. The largest continents are no larger than 500 kilometers across, and are seared with high temperatures and pelted with rain even during the colder seasons, leading to extreme marshes, rain forests, and, where the clouds are blocked by mountains, deserts.
As far as the geological column on ECCO-1(c) is concerned, there have appeared to be only two major extinction-level events in the planet's history. One at 150 Ma, and another at 410 Ma, which has resulted in heavy specialization in the life present on ECCO-1(c), which is unfortunate, given that Earth life forms such as shrimp and Blacktip reef sharks introduced into the environment by the first wave colonies have since spread to the far corners of the planet.
