Favored of the Insect God

The insect god of the tribe Wogwago has spoken. A gunner brave of the people will walk the road between roads out into the desert, eat of the gelebeaz, and speak with the specters that haunt the fallen city to the northeast. She will do this, for the tribe is dying of an illness created by a black magician from Jalpa, and the insect gods say that the specters know of an ancient cure for it. Of course, the gunner brave does not know why she has been chosen for this; she is no shaman, no priest, and no prophet, but still, one does not argue with the insect gods when they call upon you.
